The Assistant General Manager oversees day-to-day operations, controlling profit loss through cash control, inventory management, labor management, and financial review. They also ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws while maintaining exceptional customer service.
This position requires coaching and developing the management team and crew members to drive results. Working closely with the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager helps meet and exceed store goals in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Requirements
- Salaried QSR or casual restaurant experience.
- Proven track record of increasing sales and profitability.
- Strong organizational skills with a desire to develop others.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food and labor cost controls.
- Techniques in strategic planning and driving sales.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle; ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day operations, controlling profit loss by following cash control and security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, and reviewing financial reports.
- Planning and ensuring the professional growth and development of the management team and crew members.
- Working with the General Manager to meet and exceed store goals.
- Maintaining an exceptional level of customer service.
- Knowing and managing compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Ensuring the restaurant completes regular safety, cleaning, and operations checklists to guarantee guest satisfaction and inspections.
