The Guest Service Agent acts as the ultimate host, attuned to every guest need while creating a warm, seamless experience that reflects the cinematic hospitality of ASH Hotels. This role sets the tone for the property with energy, enthusiasm, and a keen eye for detail at all times.

As the face of Hotel Ulysses, the GSA anticipates needs, offers menu guidance, and stays knowledgeable about food, coffee, and all hotel offerings. The position thrives on meaningful guest interactions that craft memorable food and beverage experiences aligned with Baltimore’s artistic tradition.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome each guest personally using enthusiastic words, tone, and body language at all times
  • Complete check-in and check-out procedures and assign guests to rooms
  • Respond to guest requests and provide concierge services and recommendations
  • Navigate guest concerns and opportunities with professionalism and composure
  • Perform cashiering, billing tasks, and cash handling in accordance with company policy
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance for inventory management
  • Maintain clean and stocked areas to company standards while following privacy and security rules
  • Embody property and company goals, purpose, culture, and role in the community
