As a Guest Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms in your assigned section. You'll fill all reasonable guest requests and direct guests to the appropriate person for assistance, adhering to safe handling of all chemicals.

Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for a minimum eight-hour shift.
  • Must have strong time management skills and the ability to maintain an acceptable pace and quality of work.
  • Strong guest service skills.
  • No formal education required.
  • Six months prior cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and service guest rooms in assigned section.
  • Fill all reasonable guest requests and direct guests to the appropriate person for assistance.
  • Adhere to safe handling of all chemicals.
  • Report any safety issues to Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Housekeeping Manager, or Housekeeping Manager.
  • Follow established protocol when entering and cleaning guest rooms.
  • Restock housekeeping room attendant carts with guest supplies and chemicals.
  • Maintain housekeeping room attendant carts and work areas in an orderly and neat manner.
  • Complete all assigned rooms in a timely manner.
