Our Front Office team is the face of the hotel, creating memorable first impressions and ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless stay.

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and dependable Front Desk Clerk to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will assist guests with check-in and check-out, answer and process all phone calls, and handle special requests for services or information in accordance with standard policies and procedures.

As a key member of our front office team, you will maintain positive guest relations at all times, anticipate guests' needs, and respond promptly—no matter how busy or what time of day. You will also resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction and communicate pertinent information to designated departments or personnel.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • One year previous experience in a similar position in a hotel
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Ability to obtain and secure a bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies
  • Ability to answer department telephone within 3 rings using correct greeting and telephone etiquette
  • Ability to verify registration card information with guests and obtain back-up information for credit or payment methods
  • Ability to direct Bell Person to escort guest and transport luggage to the room
  • Ability to resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping

Responsibilities

  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes
  • Answer and process all phone calls received using correct greeting and telephone etiquette
  • Handle all special requests for services or information in accordance with standard policies
  • Resolve guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly, acknowledging all guests at all times
  • Maintain complete knowledge of hotel features, services, hours of operation, room rates, special packages, and daily group activities
  • Process all check-outs and handle overbooked or walked-in guests
  • Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments or personnel, including special requests and amenity delivery
