About this role
As a Front Desk Agent at Remington Hospitality, you will be the first and last impression for guests at our Lakeway hotel. This part-time flex associate role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys creating welcoming experiences.
Your day-to-day will involve greeting and communicating cordially with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out. You will manage cash handling, post charges accurately, and handle reservations with efficiency, including taking same-day reservations in approximately two minutes.
You will work as part of a close-knit team that values high work ethic and self-initiative. The role requires flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, ensuring coverage when the team needs it most.
This position offers the opportunity to build a strong foundation in hotel operations, from pre-registration and blocking reservations to mastering the front office computer system. Bilingual candidates are preferred, adding value to our diverse guest interactions.
Requirements
- High work ethic and self-initiative

- Bilingual preferred
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Working knowledge of hotel rates, discounts, and reservation procedures
Responsibilities
- Greet and communicate cordially with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel
- Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary
- Promptly, accurately and efficiently post all charges
- Accurately manage cash handling, including receiving cash, checks and credit card information from guests for payment of hotel charges and making change correctly
- Review reservations with special requests and work to block rooms accordingly
- Take same-day reservations in approximately two minutes and follow cancellation and relocation procedures
- Have complete working knowledge of the Front Office computer or manual system, including all daily and infrequent transactions
